Yummy Games Quick Launch has been developed to support a high volume, transactional-based e-commerce system as well as provide the highest quality of service for content distribution. The content servers and Games Player can work with multiple data centers located strategically to host game content and provide the best possible user experience.
Yummy can provide hosting and management of servers required for the subscription management and work with the partner to strategically locate game data servers in single or multiple locations. The solution has been designed to meet the following requirements:
Platform Independence – Web services can be called from any platform using standard Internet protocols. Furthermore, the game content can be delivered to the Yummy Player from any HTTP 1.1 compliant web server such as Apache or IIS.
Highly Scalable – scalability is achieved by developing the network according to DNA architecture. The network can scale rapidly to meet large-scale growth demands.
Highly Available – game content can be located in multiple locations, allowing for no single point of failure in its design to ensure the highest possible "uptime".
Low Latency – by geographically distributing the game content network, the partner can reduce latency periods increasing the quality of the end user experience.
Flexible (modular design for Multiple PoPs) – A flexible design allows the partner to position content geographically to improve the download and latency metrics.
